Leila's Big Difference, a Children's Book about a Family in Haiti
This book was written by Mackenzie Howell when she was just 7 years old and illustrated by Jace Theriot at age 9. The kids wrote the book to raise money for Christian mission work in Haiti. The book is about a little girl named Leila, who like the author and illustrator, may be small but makes a big difference! All proceeds from the sale of the book are donated to the Illinios Baptist State Association for long-term earthquake recovery efforts in Bigarade, Haiti.
